Profile of Dr. Janeel Inda
Dr. Janeel Inda proudly serves children, adolescents, and young adults, bringing together her specializations in behavior analysis and psychotherapy to best meet the needs of her clients and their families. She provides therapeutic services with an emphasis on creating a welcoming, collaborative environment and conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations to offer diagnostic clarification and tailored treatment recommendations.
Dr. Inda earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University and has dedicated her career to working with children, adolescents, and families since 2008. She completed her post-doctoral residency at Citrus Health Network’s Children’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CCSU) and Juvenile Addictions Receiving Facility (JARF), where she honed her skills in crisis de-escalation, stabilization, and facilitating individual, group, and family therapy. Her clinical internship was with the Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD), where she supported children, parents, and educators in the Head Start program.
In addition to her work in crisis stabilization, Dr. Inda has extensive experience with substance abuse treatment in both inpatient and group settings. She further expanded her expertise in child and family care at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (NCH), working in the Inpatient Crisis Unit and Intensive Outpatient Program.
Dr. Inda’s professional interests extend to psycho-educational and developmental assessments, with a focus on providing families with clear, meaningful recommendations. As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, she has spent several years supporting children with developmental and behavioral challenges, training parents, teachers, and staff in effective strategies, and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians. She is a strong advocate for early and intensive intervention and is deeply committed to empowering families with guidance, resources, and support every step of the way. Dr. Inda is certified in (ADOS-2) Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition, administration. She is also foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and is passionate about supporting her clients using her knowledge of this modality.
