Dr. Megan Michelle Lavado, Psy.D is a bilingual, licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in neuropsychology. She has extensive training in the assessment of toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults with various neurological, medical, and psychological conditions, and has been working with these populations since 2007. She is certified in Cross-Battery Assessment, which is an evidence-based approach for identifying Specific Learning Disorder (SLD). Dr. Lavado is the co-author of the book: Minority and Cross-Cultural Aspects of Neuropsychological Assessment: Enduring and Emerging Trends.
With many years of experience in providing comprehensive psychological assessments, Dr. Lavado focuses exclusively in the assessment of giftedness, learning disabilities, intellectual disability, emotional concerns, behavioral issues, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder for the purpose of guiding treatment, intervention and accommodations as needed.

Dr. Lavado received her Bachelor’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University and her Doctoral Degree at Albizu University, with a concentration in Neuropsychology. She completed her internship at the Neurobehavioral Institute of Miami, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Weston Psychological Associates.
